Tàu hũ ky non được ngâm nước để làm mềm trước và cắt thành từng miếng nhỏ. Sau đó cho tàu hũ ky non vào nồi, thêm nước xâm xấp đun sôi 2 phút rồi vớt ra để ráo nước.
Dưa leo rửa sạch, dùng chày giá cho nát rồi cho vào tô tàu kỹ ky non. Tiếp đến nêm vào 1/4 muỗng cà phê muối, 2 muỗng canh giấm, 1 muỗng canh dầu hào và 1 muỗng canh dầu mè, trộn đều lên, để yên ít phút cho ngấm là dùng.
