An excellent pH meter.
I have had a couple of these small pH meters in the past. While they are certainly not as precise as the more expensive commercial pH meters like the blue lab ones that costs several hundred, these smaller ones are more practical and are far more affordable. A change in 0.01 for example will not make much difference in a hydroponic grow tank. They are more accurate than what you need for hydroponics, which is what I use them for. This one is no exception compared to the others I have purchased in the past except that it comes in a nice plastic holder-- something lacking in the other similar pH meters I have purchased in the past. Also included are instructions and three small packets needed to calibrate the device. What about calibration? All pH meters need calibration after using it for a long time. Even then, the slight difference in pH usually does not make much difference in hydroponics. One easy way to keep track is to measure your home tap water and remember the pH. Whenever you measure your home tap water changing significantly, it is probably time to calibrate again. This device is easy to use and I would recommend it for hydroponics.

Accurate testing meter
This is a nice tool to use for testing your ph. Bought for checking the ph level for my hot tub, but can also be used for drinking water or swimming pools etc...one time cost vs. constantly buying test strips. Very accurate, definitely worth getting.

Definitely Easy to Use
If this pH meter is accurate (how do I know?), it's a great deal. I'm going to take a leap and say it is fairly accurate, but I'm not about to do the work of comparing it with other pH meters. (I'm retired). I did test water output from each of our indoor/outdoor water outlets (sinks, faucets, etc.), and although the readings varied a small amount, they came out about as I expected them to do. All this was done in order to set my water softener to a desired pH result, which was my goal in the first place. Fast results. Easy to Use. I am satisfied.

Accurate and Reliable
I use this meter for my hydroponic plants, freshwater aquariums, and brewing kombucha. So far it has been both accurate and reliable. Calibration is easy (comes with calibration kit) and it has stayed accurate with frequent use. On occasion, when I have gotten unexpected readings, I have checked it against a pH drop kit and the meter has been spot on so I know it is functioning perfectly. I think this meter is a great value for the money and it comes in a nice little storage box. I would definitely buy from this company again.

Not sure what people are complaining about. For a cheap little ph checker I don’t expect 100% accuracy to the .01 ph...I use to to check the pool and occasionally drinking water (alkaline good!). And for that it works just fine!

Perfect for our science experiment
Since my kids are out of school for the rest of the year, we used this to do a little science experiment at home. We bought different brands of bottled water and got a glass of water from our faucet and tested the Ph levels of all of them.

Helpful and easy to use
This is a helpful tool, I use it to see the water quality from the filter. It’s very easy to use and read. For a good accurate measurement try to use a small amount of water in a cup couple times.

Much better than strips, very easy to and read! A great portable size that can be taken anywhere you need. If you need to calibrate any type of water, I would deff recommend getting it!!
