Fabulous product
I am riddled with painful arthritis and nearly killed myself shoveling last winter in NJ where I live. I started using this and it works great. Apply as recommended and it will save you a lot of shoveling. While my neighbors all have snow covered walks and driveways mine look like the snow fairy's showed up and cleared away the snow.

Having no problems how this de over works. Good product .. might be a bit spendy but you get what you pay for. And they deliver.. good since I could not pick up very well of course I'm almost 70..

Blue Heat BHP40 Melter Review
I chose this five star rating for a myriad of reasons: 1) the explanation of the product on Amazon's website intrigued me; 2) the vendor hand delivered this item to me in approximately 24 hours after I placed this order; 3) this delivery method had never happened before for any of the items I purchased on Amazon.com;4) I live in the very snowy Northeast so this snow and ice melter was desperately needed; 5) Blue Heat BHP40 performed admirably in cold, snow, rain, sleet and ice!;6) quite honestly this product exceeded my expectations as to its effectiveness and more importantly it was not unduly harmful to either my steps or my driveway after it had been applied. Given the above combined with the ability of the vendor in securing this product for me so quickly after I had ordered the same I would definitely use this product again and I would definitely buy it from the very same vendor. You really can't beat door to door service.

Melts ice and snow fast. This past winter in Illinois, it snowed almost every other day and I got tired of shoveling. Just pour this on top and ice and snow, GONE

This stuff is the bomb!
Wow this stuff works so well for melting ice. I've used a bunch of products over the years, and this is the best so far. It seems to work very quickly, and is effective even when it's about 10 degrees out. I haven't tested it in colder weather yet so can't confirm if it's effective in colder temps. I'm sure the label tells you its range anyway. I highly recommended this blue heat. I think I'll be exclusively switching to it, that's how well it works.

How To Survive MN Winter Without Breaking Your Neck
It has been a brutal winter in MN this year and this product kept me from falling on days of nothing but ice. Worked even in the severe cold. I would go out an sprinkle it on the sidewalks early morning and it was good to go by the time I went to work. The product arrived super fast which was great as I couldn't find salt anywhere. I like the container as is easy to handle which is important when you are applying the salt on a sheet of ice. They took extra care in packaging, which I appreciated. Great product.

I got this for my mom, she seems to find the ice patches wherever she goes, living near Chicago we get a good amount of snow. The very first time she used it the ice was gone very very quickly! I'd have to say max 1 minute. She isn't easily impressed but now she loves this stuff. Also we had a huge ice spot in the driveway where the cars usually park....Rock salt, pet safe salt, table salt and heat salt didn't work. This stuff did in a matter of seconds! No more ice skating in my driveway woohoo

Good stuff - melts ice quickly.
Works as advertised. A little on the expensive side, but I was desperate as all local stores had sold out of ice melt. :) I noticed it seems to work better than the $13 bag of ice melt I bought at Costco. And I like the blue dye so I can easily see where I've spread it.

Very quick action ice melt!
We had a pretty nasty winter this year and this ice melt worked extremely well and fast! Almost immediately after sprinkling onto black ice, it penetrated and made a dangerous sidewalk safe again.
